UPDATE: Antonio Moreno won his election by 12 votes and has been named mayor of the small Spanish town of Carcelé.

38-year-old Antonio Moreno, a retired adult film star best known by the stage name of Héctor De Silva, is currently running for mayor in Carcelén, a small village in Spain.

Over the years, Moreno appeared in adult films from studios such as Men.com, Lucas Kazan Productions, and Men At Play. However, he appears to have retired from that career between 2020 and 2021.

Since leaving the adult film industry behind, Moreno got a job as a local firefighter and started to bond with the community around him in Carcelén, which has a reported population of 483 residents. “I take my past as a porn actor normally,” Moreno told Sur. “My family, who supported me, knew about it. I have always told them about it. It is a stage in my life that I don’t regret because I learned a lot.”

Though Moreno has left his acting days behind, he certainly makes for a great-looking Spanish politician!
