Orlando, Florida will be the gayest place on Earth June 3-6. Mickey’s hometown will be packed with all things gay... Girls in Wonderland, Orlando Gay Days and even the Golden Crown Literary Society annual conference. There will be something for everybody.
Visitors may not recognize, or even understand the differences, but whether it’s Orlando Gay Days, Girls at Gay Days, Gay Day Family, Gay Day Orlando or Girls in Wonderland, the LGBT community will have dozens of events from which to choose.
It started 20 years ago, during a far less gay-friendly time, with a few thousand gays at Walt Disney World wearing red shirts for visibility. This year, some 135,000 to 140,000 visitors will flood Central Florida hotels and entertainment venues to party, dance, be entertained, shop and just have a good time with friends, family and thousands of other people.
Here are some highlights of what’s going on for the ladies in Orlando the first week in June:
Girls in Wonderland
Thursday, June 3 -- Bud Light Happy Hour and Carnival dance party
Friday, June 4 -- Wet Pool Party, Curve Magazine and NCLR Welcome Cocktail Reception, and Climax (dancing, pool tables, go-go girls)
Saturday, June 5 -- Splash Bash and Girls Rock Pool Parties, Laugh Out Loud Comedy Show with Suzanne Westenhoefer and Wild Wild South dance party
Sunday, June 6 -- Rabbit Hole dance party, Wonderland Pool Bash and Girlie Idol live women’s music event.

Girls at Orlando Gay Days
The Film and Literary Festivals, Disney theme park visits, Mari Con Comics and Collectibles Show and the Expo will run throughout the event.
Thursday, June 3 –Wine Event, Welcome Party
Friday, June 4 – Pool parties, financial planning seminar, comedy night with Vickie Shaw and Michele Balkan, water park party
Saturday, June 5 – Pool parties, comedy night with Alec Mapa, dance parties
