On Monday, Fox released its list of programs for their Fall Lineup including Steven Spielberg’s dino- filled science fiction series Terra Nova starring the lovely Shelley Conn, who gathered a strong lesbian fan following starring in the lesbian-themed romantic comedy Nina's Heavenly Delights.
Starring Jason O’Mara as the head of the family, Terra Nova revolves around the Shannon family from 2149 A.D. With the planet on its last legs, the Shannons join the Tenth Pilgrimage of settlers and are transported to Tara Nova, a prehistoric Earth 85 million years prior. It is the second chance they need to rebuild a civilization and avoid extinction. With beautiful women like Conn in a utopian / dystopian setting you can't go too wrong!
The elaborate special effects have kept the network from previewing the show later this month, as scheduled. You can’t rush perfection, right?
Terra Nova is one of the most ambitious television series ever produced,” Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly said in a statement. “The cutting-edge visual effects used to create the world of Terra Nova, which is of massive scope and scale, require more time to be realized …”
The premise of the show is interesting, but I wonder if the high maintenance special effects will affect the production of the show. Moreover, people plus dinosaurs seems a bit Jurassic Park. And we all know how that ended.
Take a look at the trailer for yourself, or catch Terra Nova when it airs this Fall on Fox.
