There’s just never really enough of out actress Maria Bello in the world, but Lifetime is helping to remedy that with a movie version of Big Driver, based on a Stephen King novella.
Bello plays Tess Thorne, a mystery writer –how meta of Mr. King—who is stranded driving back roads of New England. The man who comes to her rescue proceeds to terrorize, abuse her, and leave her for dead. When she manages to escape she decides against going to the police and in favor of exacting revenge on her abuser.
