Move Over Ryan Gosling, Feminist Mad Max Is Here to Slay

Mad Max: Fury Road is already one of the best films of the year, and besides all of the visually amazing action scenes and director George Miller's in-your-face way of telling the tale of a society gone wrong, the best part about the reboot of this classic are the feminist themes. 

Despite backlash from so-called "men's rights activists," the films main actors Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron defend and proudly promote the feminist narratives off set. 

Well, because of all the empowering feminism in the flick and in celebration of how progressive Tom Hardy's character is, a someone created a Tumblr called Feminist Mad Max, and it is literally the greatest thing ever. 

It's kind of like that well-known Feminist Ryan Gosling blog, but way more badass. Because Tom Hardy, duh.
