Jaden Smith, the Unexpected Genderqueer Fashion Icon of the Year
Until Jaden Smith deleted his Twitter, he was known for his philosophical tweets. In addition to expressing himself openly on the Internet, he's notorious for pushing the boundaries of fashion.
Although he's straight, Smith is famous for being his generation's genderqueer fashion icon. Maybe Smith took RuPaul's famous words to heart?
"You're born naked & the rest is drag."
Despite what mainstream society says about gender, Smith's not afraid to rock t-shirt dresses and tunics ...
... or cool skirt/kilt things.
Sometimes, he dresses in "boy clothes."
Sometimes, he dresses in "girl clothes."
And, he rocks cropped tops.
For being true to who he is, and not caring about gender norms, Smith is fashion's genderqueer MVP. Plus, he looks fantastic in a Batman suit. Obvi, we're obsessed.
Which of Smith's genderqueer looks is your fave? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!
