Ever wished you could marvel at the clothes worn by your favorite television actors? Well, last Saturday at the Los Angeles Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), TV Academy members, design students, and fashionistas convened for the opening of the school, and the Television Academy’s annual Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design exhibit. The exhibit features costumes from a number of our favorite queer female television shows such as Orange is the New Black, Masters of Sex, The Good Wife, Pretty Little Liars, Portlandia, and American Horror Story: Coven.
Costume designer Mary Rose curated the showcase, and chose items from programs she liked, rather than just nominees. Are you down to check out the exhibit at FIDM before it ends on September 20?
