We must have been very good this year because we are being treated to an extra steamy holiday treat! Thank you, Santa!
We're of course talking about the the SEVERAL MANY Speedo-clad Santas who attended this year's annual Northalsted Santa Speedo Run at the Sidetrack Video Bar in Chicago.
According to the event organizers, over 350 festive fundraisers and sexy Santas descended on the venue to raise over $150,000 for local LGBTQ+ community center, Center on Halsted.
The event celebrated its 12th year, with Debbie Fox once again playing host, which is an annual highlight for the Midwest's LGBTQ+ Holiday Season. The event has been steadily growing every year and this time welcomed runners and party-goers from around the country. Over 1200 people were in attendance.
Speedo Run Founders Jeff Colgan and Karl Sponholtz kicked off the night by leading a crowd in a rousing chorus of "Jingle Balls" before runners were sent out on the one-mile fun run through Chicago's Northalsted district. Zamora Love and Sasha Love kept the party going well into the evening.
But that's not all other highlights from the night included a Spirit of the Run Award which this year was given to business partner The Men's Room Chicago and community activist David Hackett.
And of course, the most coveted award, The Golden Speedo, was given to top fundraiser David Roberts, who raised over $16,000 in donations for the run.
