Central Alabama knows how to throw a Pride celebration — and how to keep the queer joy and laughter flowing. Case in point the Laugh OUT Loud event featuring drag icon Lady Bunny who took on the role of host for the evening.
Along with plenty of giggles, the evening included plenty of glitzy outfits, sky-high wigs, and false eyelashes long enough to rival Tammy Faye Baker's, which you would expect from the multi-talented drag artist who absolutely captivated the audience.
The event was a part of Central Alabama Pride's yearly fundraising efforts — in collaboration with their partner Saturn. The aim was to generate much-needed funds for the annual parade and pride festival. Additionally, this initiative was aligned with Pride's broader goal of bringing diverse forms of entertainment to the Central Alabama Community.
