Where my cat gays at? Well, over the weekend they were all getting their nine lives in Pasadena, Calif. while attending CatCon 2023. Purr.

Unfamiliar with the annual kitty lovin’ gathering? It’s the world’s largest event dedicated to cats and pop culture. This year was one for the history books. CatCon opened its doors to more than 11,000 attendees over the weekend and they were treated to an incredible lineup of cat-related events, meet and greets, and, of course, swag-buying opportunities.

CatCon marked the debut of the Taylor Swift-themed cat art show, “Karma is a Cat Art Show” which featured original art celebrating multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, and proud cat lover.

Also introduced at the show were new AI tools for cat lovers which featured CAT-GBT, CatCon’s first-ever interactive AI experience. which enabled attendees to turn their cats into pieces of art with a click of a button — including Drag Race All Stars’ Jimbo, who was combined with her “precious Stitchy Baby” to make the ultimate “Clown Cat Coronation Concoction of Cuteness!”

Also making its debut at CatCon was Cat-GPT Live, a new texting platform that uses AI to allow you to text with a cat on display.

And of course, it wouldn’t be CatCon without plenty of celebricat meet-and-greets with some of the Internet’s most beloved cats including Merlin Ragdoll, One Eared Uno, Bowie the Siberian, Adventure Cat Leo, and more.

Plus, many cats found new homes in the “adoption village”. According to the event’s organizers, more than 160 cats were adopted throughout the weekend.

All in all, it was a cat lover’s dream! Scroll through to see all the feline-featured festivities.
