The MTV Movie Awards is a goofy, magical place where anything can happen. Literally anything. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this annual event, imagine if the Academy Awards were completely controlled by teenagers and loosely moderated by a playful and sometimes agitated-seeming host, this year played by Amy Schumer. Here at Shewired, we playfully make an "Oscar-Worthy Lesbian Sex Scenes" list, but this is actually the kind of category that might show up at the MTV awards for real one day. Legitimately, current MTV categories include Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best WTF Moment, Best Shirtless Performance, and, of course, Best Kiss (which were all won by either The Fault In Our Stars and Neighbors, to give you a hint as to who these nights usually favor). But because this all isn't fun enough, they've also implemented a 'Kiss Cam' that playfully scans the audience for willing participants. And while Shailene Woodley and Ansel Egort won the actual award for Best Kiss, Amy Schumer and Amber Rose certainly gave the two a run for their money. Consider the bar raised for next year, MTV!
