Casting Net: Ellen Page as John Belushi's Wife, Sara Gilbert on Bad Teacher

We're always excited to hear about our favorite ladies landing new projects -- and today brings us a couple bits of great news on that front.

First, Ellen Page is in talks to join an upcoming John Belushi biopic. Page would be playing the late comedian's wife, Judy, opposite Emile Hirsch. If she signs on, it will be her first new project since she came out last month. Meanwhile, we can't wait to see her as Kitty Pryde in X-Men Days of Future Past! 

If the small screen is more your scene, you'll be able to see Sara Gilbert's return to acting form on CBS' new sitcom, Bad Teacher, starting next month. The series is based on the Cameron Diaz-starring movie of the same name. Gilbert will play Irene, a character at the school setting that Ari Graynor's Meredith Davis manages to work over. The series premiere is set for April 24.
