Let's talk about it!
We will never forget the time we watched Naomi Smalls on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season four and she eliminated Manila Luzon. Ever. And apparently, Monet X Change won't either.
On the latest episode of The Pit Stop, the official ru-cap for RuPaul's Drag Race, X Change asked Smalls, her guest about the iconic moment in Drag Race herstory.
"Speaking of protective, I mean in All Stars four you had one of the most iconic moments of the seaosn," she said. "A moment that made people watch the show and made people keep talking about it. The iconic 'life's not fair.'"
"Is it though?!" Smalls asked.
"It's really not!" X Change replied. For those who don't remember: Smalls eliminated Luzon during the season while Luzon was the front runner. And when asked about taking out the top contender for the crown she responded with a gem of wisdom that could have been pulled straight from the Little Mermaid's Ursula: "Life's not fair."
I live!
On The Pit Stop, X Change asked if Smalls thought the moment would be as legendary as it became.
"No, I just really wanted to see that bitch go home," she replied. "I wish I could rephrase it because at that time I was just young and like in my head I feel like I was participating as someone was watching me. But really, I just didn't trust the bitch and I needed her to go home because I knew I was going to go further.
"And that's what competition is all about!"
Simple enough. The rest of the Pit Stop is similarly legendary as Smalls and X Change give their opinions on the episode. Amongst the other revelations: she hated her season 8 finale look.
"That is the worst I have ever looked in drag," Smalls said of the outfit. "I am convinced that is the worst I have ever looked in drag. I look like a goth version of Fiona from Shrek wrapped in a condom. It was like literally ... I think that's like tattooed in my brain as the worst I've ever looked."
