RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars Trixie Mattel and Katya are bringing their latest joint tour to the comfort of your home.
On Monday, May 8, the UNHhhh stars announced that a recording of the last show in the Trixie and Katya Live! tour will be available for streaming on Veeps from June 1 to June 14, 2023.
“Finally you can see the biggest drag show ever toured without having to put in your dentures and step into your hoop skirt,” Trixie wrote in a statement. “Even the most homophobic zip codes in the world will be able to enjoy this wholesome romp.”
Trixie and Katya, along with the Obsessed production team, are pledging a minimum donation of $50,000 to the Drag Isn’t Dangerous fund. What’s more, a dollar from every livestream ticket to Trixie and Katya Live! on Veeps will also be donated to the fund.
According to a release, this livestream consists of “an edited compilation of 14 live shows filmed throughout the tour.” Moreover, “fans will be able to purchase access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content and confessionals from the cast and crew for the duration of the streaming period,” making this an even more immersive experience.
The Trixie and Katya Live! tour consists of the two Drag Race stars dealing with a series of obstacles thrown at them by the evil CEO of Klarna. Another recurring character on the show is Trixie and Katya’s “grifting manager,” Sandy, played by Kelly Mantle.
