'Drag Race's Kornbread & Farrah Moan Drama Explained
The girls are exchanging some words on X.
In recent weeks, it’s become a trend for RuPaul’s Drag Race stars to do videos on TikTok and Instagram where they rank other queens based on different metrics. This trend has already gotten Gia Gunn banned from TikTok, but most other queens are finding ways to have fun with this format without getting themselves into any trouble.
One of the latest queens to do this trend was Alexis Michelle, best known for competing on Drag Race season nine and All Stars 8. At the start of her video, Alexis showed that she was recording this video while hanging out with Farrah Moan. But as soon as the first queen to show up in the filter happened to be Luxx Noir London, Alexis had the immediate reaction of saying, “Nope!”
On X (formerly Twitter), Drag Race season 14 star Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté reacted to this video from Alexis. “Be a sister my ass,” she wrote. “Someone do this to her, she’ll cry. Probably too busy wanting to cook LaLa a chicken dinner.”
Kornbread followed it up with another post, “And it’s ‘not that she can’t be shady.’ But when someone shades her in a fun way it’s ‘you know how these fans are and we can’t give them fuel’ all in the inbox.”
After seeing Kornbread’s reaction to the video, it didn’t take long for Alexis’ season nine costar Farrah Moan to come to her defense. “You clearly don’t know Alexis. And anyone hating on her clearly doesn’t know Alexis either,” Farrah wrote. “She is a really good person with an amazing heart and is endlessly generous and kind. Why are you so intent on bringing her down? This is so beyond mean at this point.”
Kornbread replied, “There’s no ‘hate train’ and no one’s being mean. She’s being shady. We are all f*cking shady, we are drag queens. What I’m saying is DON’T GET MAD WHEN YOU GET SHADED! But turn around and shade someone else. So miss me with the mean bullsh*t. That’s a cop out.”
Farrah followed up with another response defending Alexis. “No hate train? Are you stupid?” she wrote in response to Kornbread. “There’s thousands of people attacking her on every single social media site on the internet, and you knowing how these fans are, are fueling the fire because I can only assume you crave the attention. Miss me with this bizarre b*tchy bullsh*t.”
