RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are once again conquering the holiday season with a new tour and original music.

Ahead of their upcoming joint tour The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show – which kicks off on November 11 – the duo has dropped a new song titled “Looking at the Lights.” The song features vocals by Jinkx and lyrics by DeLa.

“‘Looking at the Lights’ is the first song I’ve ever written that’s just earnest and didn’t break itself with a joke,” DeLa said in a release. “It’s a true holiday song about friendship and community, and how even in the darkest of times, we still have each other. I wrote it as a way to process all my feelings of trauma, grief, and anxiety in the pandemic. (…) As someone who’s always struggled with the holidays, this is more than just a song about pandemic loneliness. It’s timeless and always relatable.”

Jinkx remarked, “First of all, it’s such an honor when two of your brilliantly talented friends [BenDeLaCreme and Major Scales] make a song for you and ask you to sing it. When DeLa and I first heard the composition by Major, we had mutual goosebumps. It’s become one of my absolute favorite songs to perform, and even more special knowing how audiences connect with it. I’m excited for fans who got to see the show last year to add this studio recording to their holiday playlists.”

You can listen to “Looking at the Lights” below.

Jinkx was first introduced to mainstream audiences back on RuPaul’s Drag Race season five, which she won. In 2022, Jinkx came back to compete in the all-winners edition of All Stars 7 – which culminated in Jinkx becoming the first-ever two-time Drag Race winner and being crowned the Queen of All Queens.

DeLa first competed on season six of Drag Race, where she won the title of Miss Congeniality. Years later, she came back for All Stars 3 and was the absolute frontrunner of the competition. Alas, DeLa ultimately didn’t feel comfortable with the format of the series and decided to eliminate herself during one of the most shocking Drag Race episodes of all time.

Fans are very excited to see Jinkx and DeLa hit the road once again in 2022 with their brand-new holiday tour!

The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show kicks off November 11. For tickets and more information, visit the tour’s official website.
