Popular YouTube star Lele Pons is opening up about coming to terms with her openly gay dad's sexuality.

In the latest episode of her behind-the-scenes YouTube original series The Secret Life of Lele Pons, the 23-year-old social media personality and actress recounts how she walked in on her father while he was having an intimate moment with another man.

"I came to his room and I saw him actually, like, sleeping with a man," she recalls. "I was, like, 10 years old, and that for me was, like, 'Oh, my God, I can't believe it. Like, I saw...my dad.'"

While she notes it was hard for her to come to terms with her father's sexuality at first, the two are now very close and have a loving, father-daughter relationship.

"It was hard for me at first. It was hard because I was repeating him saying he was gay until it sounded right in my head," Pons said.

"My dad is my best friend!" the content creator wrote in an Instagram teaser of the episode, talking about her love and her bond with her dad. "The person I love most in the world and I will always forever support him! He’s the best father I could have ever asked for and I thank God every day for him!"
