Our Fave Broad City Star Abbi Jacobson Just Came Out as Bi
Abbi Jacobson, beloved queer icon and star of Broad City, has come out as queer. In an interview with Vanity Fair this past Friday, Jacobson opened out about her attraction to multiple genders.
Vanity Fair writes:
Though she’s busy, Jacobson adds that she’s open to meeting somebody. "I kind of go both ways; I date men and women," she says. "They have to be funny, doing something they love. I don’t know—I’ve never really been interviewed about this before." When told that by virtue of this conversation, she’s putting herself out there to be approached by potential matches, she replies good-naturedly, "Yeah, who knows? The world is my oyster."
The profile on Jacobson was to promote her upcoming film 6 Balloons, which she stars in alongside Dave Franco.
"I’m kind of nervous that people will be thinking it’s a comedy and they will be thrown," Jacobson told VF. Both Franco and Jacobson are known more for light hearted comedies, but it seems like 6 Balloons may be Jacobson’s big jump into more serious roles.
All we can say is, "YAS KWEEN"
