What better place to come out to your family than the Happiest Place on Earth?

Chances are, your coming out experience was probably not as fun as Gina's. The 16-year-old high school student from California recently came out to her family as gay, but instead of having a conversation with them, like most queer youth probably do, she decided to do something a little different.

While on-board the popular Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland during a family trip, Gina held up a rainbow-colored sign that read "I'M GAY." The stunt was forever immortalized in one of those souvenir photos amusement parks always offer riders after getting off a roller coaster, which Gina then used to tell the truth about her sexuality to her mom, dad, and brother.

"I am not the type of person to have a deep, sit-down conversation, so I wanted to tell them in a lighthearted and fun way. I love funny ride photos so I figured I could make the sign just in case I decided to go for it, and I did," Gina told BuzzFeed in a recent interview. "My dad and brother said they were already 70% sure I was gay but my mom had no idea, but I knew they would be super accepting."

Congrats, Gina!
