Community star Alison Brie may have just come out as bisexual in the most chill way possible.
The actress has been busy doing press to promote her new movie, Somebody I Used To Know, with husband Dave Franco — Franco directed the film, he and Brie wrote it together, and she stars as a frustrated filmmaker who tries to disrupt the upcoming wedding of her hometown ex-boyfriend.
One of their recent stops was chatting with BuzzFeed to read tweets thirsting over them both individually and as a couple, including this 2020 banger:
“Listen I am bisexual for a reason and that reason is strictly to be used in a threesome by dave franco and alison brie.”
While fans were already chomping at the bit to deem the tweet relatable, Brie’s response stopped them in their tracks.
“That’s also why I’m bisexual,” she said, after high-fiving her husband.
“You’ve been waiting for this tweet, from someone who you don’t know who they are or what they look like?” Franco asked.
“Yeah,” Brie replied.
Some fans felt her comment may have just been a joke, playing along with the thirst tweets, but many, many others took it and ran with it.
And others pointed out that Brie has alluded to not exactly being straight before, but just hasn’t thrown out a label in the past that they were aware of.
Considering how many Brie fans were pleasantly shocked as the BuzzFeed video circulated, this still feels like a coming out of sorts — and as we all know, that’s something everyone has to do again and again, anyway.
And casually sliding it into a conversation about a random Twitter stranger wanting a threesome with her and her husband feels like an incredibly perfect Alison Brie thing to do.
