Lil Nas X continues to be the queer icon we deserve and need in the world right now. Because not only did he channel love instead of hate at homophobic protestors outside of his Long Live Montero Tour in Boston, he did it with... pizza.
On Sunday night at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park, it came to Lil Nas X’s attention that some Christian protesters gathered outside the venue, and in true Lil Nas fashion, the “Industry Baby” singer capitalized on the moment (a teachable moment, if you will) by breaking bread (and cheese) with the protestors.
That’s right Nas sent pizza to the people outside, who had taken time out of their very busy day of spreading hate to protest the icon. “Just told my team to send them pizza, this is a really good promo!” Lil Nas tweeted in response to a fan video of the protesters that showed up outside the venue.

A little while later, after sending his peace offering to the religious protestors, Nas sent out a video update on his efforts to bridge the divide, which ended with a close-up of some Nas-approved eye candy. “Update: they didn’t want the pizza but I accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protestors.”

For Nas, let’s just say, he was taken by his protestor crush, later tweeting “can’t stop thinking about the cute homophobic guy that was protesting my concert last night. I just know we had a connection. I miss him so much man. I’m nothing without him.”

Now that’s what you call a literal god level troll.
