The new couple confirmed their relationship earlier this week.

JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus seemed to confirm their widely speculated relationship on TikTok Wednesday, but they’ve now taken it a step further: to the red carpet.

The pair was photographed at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles for the opening night of Jagged Little Pill, and seemed to have no qualms getting cozy in front of the cameras.

Taking their relationship to the next level (publicity photos, duh) took place just one day after the Dance Moms alum shared video of her and Cyrus kissing at Chuck E. Cheese, the first real confirmation given by either of them as to their relationship status.

Still, the amount of time the influencers had spent together in recent weeks had caused fans to heavily speculate that they were more than just gal pals.

It was just last month that they both ended their respective relationships — Siwa announcing her second breakup with first girlfriend Kylie Prew, and Cyrus splitting with fellow TikToker Soph Mosca after two years of dating.

Both of these incidents contributed to the panic over the potential TikTok lesbian breakup curse, and seeing two of the people involved in that half-joking conspiracy theory jump into a relationship with one another has left fans unsure how to feel.

“Idk tbh they really just make [sense] in my mind,” one person commented on Siwa’s TikTok. “They are goofy, loud, fun people. I think they mesh well.”

Time will tell, but we’ll undoubtedly get photos and TikToks and maybe even more reality TV out of the whole thing in the process.
