What’s a quick way to make an awards show even better? Puppies!
Guests at the Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards were gifted with the opportunity to cuddle with rescue dogs in need of adoption, and the resulting red carpet photos are every bit as adorable as one might hope. And yes, the gays and girlies were ready to cuddle all the cute puppies.
“Pets make everyday life award-worthy, and we were thrilled to spotlight the joy of pet adoption at this year’s HCA TV Awards,” Petco Love president, Susanne Kogut, said in a statement. “It was a unique and fun surprise for everyone involved and brought much needed attention to the importance of saving pet lives through adoption.”
At both the ceremony and the after-parties of the two-day event, guests were given the opportunity to adopt any of the available pups themselves, although it wasn’t immediately clear
if any of these deserving furry friends found their forever home amidst the stars.
