Lizzo Reveals She's Gotten 'Salacious' DMs From Rihanna
A recent episode of Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen didn’t disappoint, after it led to Lizzo revealing that she’s exchanged flirty DMs with none other than Rihanna.
Rihanna came up several times through Lizzo’s chat with Andy, with the “About Damn Time” singer steering the conversation into a fascinating direction herself.
“Speaking of lesbians,” she said at one point. “My conversations with Rihanna are more sexual, I guess.”
When prompted to elaborate, she said that they “don’t talk about sex a lot, but we’re always just giving it to each other,” which we will assume refers to a flirtatious verbal exchange rather than the more literal interpretation here.
Lizzo wasn’t done dishing on her interactions with Rihanna, though, and later admitted that the (former??) singer was responsible for the most “salacious” DM she ever received.
“I think that’s just how she talks,” she added.
That was as detailed as Lizzo got about the whole thing — which was probably for the best, considering the double-sided backlash that recently followed Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp sharing Doja Cat’s private messages to him, and her subsequent public frustration over that decision. We love to hear what Lizzo and RiRi have been getting up to, as long as it doesn’t jeopardize whatever flirty friendship they’ve got going on!
Unfortunately, Lizzo also dodged a question on the show from a fan about a potential music collab between the two, noting that they don’t ever talk about work. But considering how long Rihanna stans have been waiting for a follow-up to Anti, as amazing as a track featuring both powerhouse artists would be, no one was really holding their breath.
