Brad Pitt made waves with a lewk he sported this week in Berlin on the red-carpet event to promote his new action movie, Bullet Train. The 58-year-old star strutted the carpet, showing off his legs in a skirt. Grabbing admiring eyes and headlines along the way.

According to GQ, Pitt’s skirt was designed by private-label designer Haans Nicholas Mott, who said that the actor’s “sense of color / fit / texture / pattern is utterly nuanced.”

This isn’t a first for Pitt who is an OG Hollywood A-lister when it comes to pushing boundaries in male fashion. In 1999, Pitt posed for a legendary Rolling Stone magazine cover where he dove right into gender-bending fashion at the height of his status as a movie star and Hollywood heartthrob. Since then, the actor hasn’t been scared of taking risks when it comes to the projects he’s attached to and the fashion he wears out in the world.

But he’s not alone in rocking gender fluid fashions, plenty of other famous men have been seen sans pants on the red carpet — and some have even outdone Pitt.

Some of them wore skirts to make a statement, whereas others simply consider this a traditional piece of clothing from their countries of origin. But one thing they all had in common: They looked so hot doing it.
