Russian Doll Star Charlie Barnett Is Engaged, Shares Wedding Details
The actor dished on his upcoming nuptials.
Russian Doll star Charlie Barnett is getting married!
Barnett is engaged to set designer Drew Bender, with plans to tie the knot in Wyoming soon.
Although the actor is from Florida, he explained to Page Six that he spent summers in college working on a ranch and learning about the history of runaway slaves and Black cowboys in that region of the country, clearly creating a lasting impact if he loved it enough to get married there.
“It was a nice outlet from doing all this mental work, and I just needed to do something physical — build a fence, wrangle,” he explained.
Not much is known about Barnett and Bender’s relationship, although they’ve been together for awhile and Bender has occasionally shown up on his husband-to-be’s Instagram.
In terms of wedding plans, Barnett revealed that they would be serving pies at their wedding rather than cake, and that all of their friends and family would be staying in cabins or RVs nearby rather than the traditional fancy hotels. He also called himself a bit of a bridezilla between the two.
As for further details, it looks like we may have to wait til the wedding bells have officially rung!
