Lil Nas X is pregnant... with his debut album that is.
In anticipation of the release of upcoming record Montero, the "Industry Baby" rapper shared maternity photos, complete with a baby bump, flower crown, and even an ultrasound.
"SURPRISE! I can’t believe i’m finally announcing this," he wrote on social media. "My little bundle of joy MONTERO is due September 17, 2021."

So ridiculous, but the internet is getting a good chuckle out of the posts. X shared even more photos with People Magazine, where he revealed that the shoot was inspired by his upcoming song "Dolla Sign Slime" with Megan Thee Stallion. When he heard her verse for the first time, he "was like, 'Oh my God, this is amazing,' so I immediately called my stylist. She was like, 'Wow, this all comes together. Your album. Your baby.' I was like, 'Yeah, this is my baby, huh?' As a joke, she was like, 'Yeah, you should do a pregnancy shoot.'"
That was the lightbulb moment. "I was like, 'You know what? That's actually brilliant. So now we have this entire thing coming out, and it's going to be amazing."
But is this pregnancy an immaculate conception? "I guess I am the father as well as the mother," X replied. "But I guess the producers who worked on it are like the dads too. Or maybe uncles."
Along with Megan Thee Stallion, X's debut album will also boasts features from Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, and even Sir Elton John. You can check out the full tracklist here.
Montero, the album, drops September 17!
