In a new interview with the Just for Variety podcast, Teen Wolfand Now Apocalypse actor Tyler Posey opened up about his sexuality as well as his decision to join Onlyfans.
Posey joined the user-generated, content-sharing platform commonly used by adult performers and sex workers last summer and quickly began sharing with fans his sexual experiences, including being with trans women, getting pegged, and having sexual encounters with other guys.
So why did the Teen Wolf star decide to open up about his sexuality?
"It was just a split-second decision," he recalled. "I didn’t think about how it would be received or what kind of press I would get on it, but I woke up the next day and it was all these tabloids about me coming out as pansexual. I didn’t label that."
It wasn't a coming out per se but "the kids, the fans, or whoever wrote those articles labeled that."
That online speculation did allow Posey to be more open about his experiences. "I thought that was really interesting that it just broke down this wall that I didn’t feel like I put up, but it was easier for me to just be honest about all that stuff. I’m just really trying to make it artistic, but if I have to show my butt, I want to make it really funny, not take myself seriously, and bring that to OnlyFans, because that’s who I am. I am a little taboo. I’ve always been a little bit edgier and sexually inclined and just wanting to push the envelope in a bunch of different ways."
In the full interview, Posey spoke more about being objectified on OnlyFans, seeking advice from Bella Thorne, breaking his sobriety, and new music.
