Everyone loves Keanu Reeves. If you don’t love Keanu Reeves at this point, you’re either somehow completely missing out on every amazing new anecdote that comes out about him year after year, or it’s time to reconsider your life choices and jump on the Keanu train.
As the nicest guy in Hollywood continues doing press for the upcoming long-awaited fourth installment of The Matrix, The Matrix Resurrections, the latest story to come out of it has everyone’s head spinning in the best kind of way.
Answering fan questions on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett-Smith recently, Keanu copped to an interesting factoid about one of his Halloween costumes growing up.
“My mother was a costume designer and she made some costumes for Dolly Parton, and she once did the cover of Playboy,” he said, referencing a well-known image of Dolly (one that she actually recreated for her husband earlier this year).
“And I guess she didn’t take that home,” he continued. “And so we had it, and it was Halloween. So I put on the ears and the bustier. I wore sneakers with fishnet stockings and the bow tie. I had some pretty long hair.
“I was Dolly Parton’s Playboy bunny.”
Unfortunately, Keanu didn’t share any photos from that amazing Halloween, so we’re left to fill in the blanks with our imaginations. But people were still pretty jazzed by the overlap in America’s sweethearts.
If we get stories like this every time a Keanu-led franchise is revived, well, the only logical course of action is to finally bring back Constantine. He can start the press tour just as soon as this one is finished up.
