Boosie Badazz called X gay slurs and told him to take his own life on Twitter this past weekend.
In typical Lil Nas X fashion, the "Call Me By Your Name" rapper decided to troll last Saturday and it has since incited an avalanche of drama.
This past weekend, the 22-year-old joked on Instagram live that he had a collaboration with Lousiana rapper Boosie BadAzz coming. "Shit fire. I ain't even gonna lie, for real. Gotdamn song with Lil Boosie gonna come out. Song with Lil Boosie finna come out," said X.
Most fans understood it as a joke, as BadAzz has publicly expressed disdain for the X and his openness about his sexuality, calling him "disrespectful" and much worse since his debut. But BadAzz didn't take it lightly.
“Stop trolling me f****t Lol. U a whole bitch playing with a gangsta SMH U can keep sucking dick n getting fucked n your ass n peace,” the 38-year-old rapper began in a since-deleted tweet. “N #uhateyourself I would too if I was you LOL. NasX if you #commitsuicide you would do this world a huge favor Nobody wants U here.”
The abhorrent tweet was hidden by Twitter before it was deleted by Badazz. Fans, as well as fellow celebrities, have come forward to defend the "Industry Baby" rapper.
Yesterday, X's father, Robert Stafford, spoke up on Instagram.
"How the hell you’re a gangsta rapper promoting drugs, gun violence, degrading women and getting high every video talking about you’re for the kids man sit your old man looking ass down," Stafford wrote on his story. “The game has past you. We real Bankhead over here. Not like the guy who claims it.”

Controversial musician and public figure Azealia Banks also spoke up, calling out Boosie as well as Dave Chappelle for his recent transphobia.
"Lil boosie gets no extra streets cred for antagonizing a young black kid for who he chooses to love. Lil nas x is not the catalyst for the generational debris left behind from centuries of psychological terrorism and the sexual exploitation of black men AND women on southern plantations via forced slave breeding/buckbreaking/bed wenching."
She pointed out that Lil Nas X didn't invent "systemic oppression thru food apartheid, anti-literacy laws and the for profit prison industrial complex" and that naysayers are wearing their "trauma & oppression as a badge of honor."
"The fact that you have the confidence to publicly suggest he kill himself for living a life free of all the things that have completely obliterated your ability to see yourself as anything other than a ward of the state is absolutely heartbreaking," said Banks. "There's a lot of corporate money invested in clandestinely and insidiously putting yoou and other black men n situations to trap you. It's the hip-hop to prison pipeline. This is how they make their money. And keep you out of power."

A broken clock is right twice a day.
Badazz has since doubled down on his disgusting tweet, adding, "
"IF YALL THINK THE WHOLE WORLD HATE ME 'YALL TRIPPIN' I HAVE INTERNATIONAL LOVE N RESPECT FOR HOW I AM N WHAT I STAND FOR n never forget THERES A GHETTO N EVERY CITY, STATE, COUNTRY ETC. WHO ROCK WITH BOOSIE FRFR #therealest."
