Twitter Is Roasting That Awkward Video of Celebs Singing 'Imagine'
We know they meant well, but...............
In case you haven't seen it yet (consider yourself lucky), Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot and a bunch of her A-List friends got together (virtually, of course, since COVID-19 still has most of us social distancing) and posted a video where they all sang an, um...interesting rendition of John Lennon's classic hit "Imagine."
"Hi, guys. Day six in self-quarantine. And I gotta say, these past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical," Gadot said at the beginning of the now-infamous video she posted to Instagram on Wednesday. "This virus has affected the entire world. Everyone. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from. We're all this together."
What follows is an inexplicably weird mix of a bunch of different actors and singers (Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Sarah Silverman, Sia, Jimmy Fallon, Jamie Dornan, Labrinth, James Marsden, Eddie Benjamin, Zoe Kravitz, Amy Adams, Leslie Odom, Jr, Chris O'Dowd, Will Ferrell, Mark Ruffalo, Norah Jones, Ashley Benson, Kaia Gerber, Cara Delevingne, Annie Mumolo, Maya Rudolph) filming themselves on their phones singing acapella.
It was incredibly awkward (and downright cringe-y) to watch, and people on Twitter wasted no time in saying so...

“"what if we did a modern version of We Are The World, but it's 20x as awkward, filmed on iPhones, most of the celebrities look like they hate that they're in it, and it solves nothing because this is a pandemic, and not a war?"
"omg yes!"
https://t.co/rKn7rBWmxK”— Lane Moore👉NYC 9/7, PDX 10/15 (@Lane Moore👉NYC 9/7, PDX 10/15) 1584587689

We know these celebs meant well and their hearts were probably in the right place, so we'll try to keep our comments to ourselves...
