I got the chance to cover the red carpet arrivals at this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards, and I talked about the current state of LGBTQ representation and "gay rights!" with Drag Race legends Trixie Mattel, Katya, and Alyssa Edwards, Schitt's Creek creator/star Dan Levy and his co-star Noah Reid, and Pose's MJ Rodriguez!
"I'm really getting into Pose," Drag Race Season 5 and All Stars 2 alum Alyssa Edwards told PRIDE when asked about her fave show at the moment. "I'm floored that it's so articulate. They really tapped into our community, and especially at that time with what was going on. It's very real, sincere, and honest. I'm very proud of it."
"I've been watching a lot of Killing Eve and Fleabag," Schitt's Creek's Dan Levy answered. He continued: "And I watched the first episode of Pose. Extraordinary. There's great TV out right now."
"It finally feels like we're being taken seriously," Pose actess MJ Rodriguez said about the increase of diversity in media in recent years.
