Megan Fox has joined those speaking out against Tennessee’s so-called “Slate of Hate” — a series of bills essentially targeting the LGBTQ community.

Fox took to Instagram earlier this week to urge her followers to stand up against the discriminatory bills.

“My home state of Tennessee is on the verge of passing a ‘Slate of Hate,’” she wrote. “A slew of anti-LGBTQ bills including business license to discriminate, child welfare and anti-trans bills.”

Fox came out publicly as bisexual back in 2009, telling Esquire that she “has no question in [her] mind about being bisexual,” and believes “all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes.”

It’s also when she came out with the infamous “Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands” quote.

And Fox isn’t the first celebrity to take a stance against the upcoming anti-LGBTQ bills in Tennessee.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift donated $113,000 to the Tennessee Equality Project in an effort to assist in the fight against the Slate of Hate.

“I’m so inspired by the work you do, specifically in organizing the recent petition of Tennessee faith leaders standing up against the ‘Slate of Hate’ in our state legislature,” Swift wrote in her letter to the organization’s executive director.

The bills are moving quickly through the legislature, with hearings currently happening or being scheduled for each of four in the House and Senate.
