We still love you, Selena.

All the gays are still high off of Gaga’s Oscar win, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have time for all our queens.

And Ariana Grande is certainly feeling the love this week!

The pop singer overtook longtime Instagram queen Selena Gomez in terms of follower count yesterday, an almost unheard of feat on the platform.

Cristiano Ronaldo currently holds the overall top spot, but Selena had clung onto it for ages until he snatched it up last fall. And now Ari’s climbed ranks, as well.

The difference between the two stars is currently under 100k, and with Ari tossing out new music left and right, it’s really no surprise she’s getting an increase in attention.

Ariana also made the announcement yesterday that she’ll be returning to Manchester to headline their annual Pride festival.

It will be a bittersweet return to the city, as her last performance there was for a benefit concert in 2017 after someone set off a bomb at her show earlier in the year.

But Manchester will be happy to have her, with Mark Fletcher, the CEO of Manchester Pride, stating they are “truly honored to be welcoming Ariana back to the city to help us celebrate LGBT+ life.”
