Billboards of pop star Kim Petras were placed around the headquarters of the Westboro Baptist Church, and it's clear that they don't want it all.
"OMG I love this!" she told TooFab. Her team says they have no idea who put them up. "Whoever did this should text me at the number on the billboards so that I can thank them!"
Before becoming a rising pop star, the German-born singer made international headlines with her transition at 16-years-old. She dropped her debut album this past summer and she now commands the stage with bops like "Heart to Break" and "Do Me." The phone number on the billboard is real, referenced in her song "Got My Number," and belongs to her friend, singer-songwriter Jesse Saint John. Surely someone's called him up for a good time by now.
Westboro Baptist Church has a long history of aggressive homophobia and anti-LGBTQ protests. After TMZ first ran the story, the hate-group responded to the billboards but TMZ declined to share it due to its hateful content. Followers have referred to Petras as "sin-deluded."
Petras remains unbothered. "This is the best and I'm all about it," she said.
Someone adapt Four Billboards Outside Topeka, Kansas into an Oscar-winning movie, stat!
