Paris Fashion Week ended with an unexpected crash.
During the final walk of Chanel's Spring-Summer 2020 show at Paris Fashion Week, a random woman jumps from the audience onto the stage and tries to blend in with the rest of the models.
The audience looks stunned, and the models aren't exactly sure what's going on. A few seconds later, you can even see the security team running behind her on the runway, but it looks like they can't tell exactly who the crasher is.
But never fear, Gigi Hadid is here. Another angle a few seconds later seems to show Hadid confronting the crasher and escorting her off the catwalk.
Even "I Like It" rapper Cardi B was in attendance and witnessed the spectacle. "I loved the show," she told WWD. "I got a little scared when the girl flew on the [runway]."
Yahoo! reports that the catwalk crasher is French comedian and YouTuber Marie Benoliele, who currently has a one-woman show at the Comédie des Champs Elysées theatre.
Chanel gave a statement on the incident: "This person is a comedian known for this type of prank. She had crashed another runway recently. Her presence on the catwalk was not planned. Security guards simply led her to the exit at the end of the show."
