Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital earlier today after a reported heroin overdose.
According to TMZ, paramedics arrived at her Hollywood Hills home around 1:30pm PST where Lovato was treated with an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses called Narcan. She's was promptly transported via ambulance to the hospital.
Lovato has been struggling with substance abuse for years. Earlier this year, she revealed she had been sober from alcohol, cocaine, and Oxycontin for six years. But just last month, the 25-year-old singer released a song titled 'Sober,' detailing her relapse.
“Momma, I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore,” she croons. “And Daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor/ To the ones who never left me, we've been down this road before/ I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore."
Ariana Grande, Adam Rippon, and more celebrities were quick to tweet support to Lovato:
