P!nk Is Taking on the Stigma of Public Breastfeeding One Instagram Post at a Time

Motherhood hasn't tamed her spirit.

When you take a woman who is bold, honest, raw, impassioned, driven, and fearless in the way that P!nk is and you make that woman a mother, she's not going to become a mewing little kitten in most cases. Usually, you're going to get that same bold, honest, raw, impassioned, driven, and fearless woman, plus the baby she's now bringing along for the adventure.

That's certainly been the case with P!nk, who has been documenting her life with children Willow and Jameson.

One major aspect of P!nk's social media that fans seem to appreciate is the way she highlights that motherhood doesn't mean you have to stop pursuing your career or your passions.

Have baby? Check. Go protest? Also check.

Need to dance for rehearsals? No problem, strap the baby on and let's go!

P!nk is also using her Instagram to highlight another aspect of motherhood that is controversial to some: breastfeeding.

She is determined to portray breastfeeding as a perfectly normal thing to do throughout your day while you're accomplishing a million other things.

For example, she shared this pic with the caption "Hiking makes us thirsty!" and the hashtag:

#NormalizeBreastfeedingYo

Prepping for an appearance isn't going to stop her from feeding Jameson if he's hungry.

It's not all work all the time. Even a fierce mamabear like P!nk takes time to just rest with her cubs.

Snuggles and snacks.

All of these pics are perfectly within Instagram's Community Guidelines, which specify that "some photos of female nipples" including photos of "women actively breastfeeding" are allowed.

We applaud P!nk for using her social media platform to continue to challenge people's perceptions and:
