Demi Lovato Comes Out as Dating Both Guys and Girls

Demi Lovato opens up about her life, career, addictions, sobriety, and sexuality in her latest documentary, Simply Complicated, released earlier today.

"I actually have anxiety around this interview," she opens the 78 minute YouTube film. "The last time I did an interview this long I was on cocaine."

Usually so perfect and polished, Lovato gets brutally open and honest unlike anything we've ever seen from the superstar before, even discussing her long-speculated sexual identity. Earlier this year, she was spotted holding hands with Lauren Abedini, an openly lesbian musician, and the internet was ablaze with gossip. 

Since then, Lovato's been dodging sexuality rumors, telling the press to watch her documentary to find out anything else about her private life. 

In Simply Complicated, Demi is moving on from her relationship of six years with actor Wilmer Valderrama, reveals she's single, dating around, and just matched with a woman on the celebrity dating app, Raya.

"I am on the dating app with both guys and girls," she explains to the camera. "I am open to human connection. Whether that's through a male or a female, it doesn't matter to me." 

"She is so cute," chimes in Lovato's hairdresser. 

"Mhhmm."

Demi also made it clear that she is young and ready to have fun with anyone she chooses. As far as Demi's type? "I do like athletes. There's something really sexy about somebody putting all of their physical strength into their passion."
