Tracie Thoms and Nicole Scherzinger Heat Up The Hollywood Bowl in 'Rent' Video

For those who live in and around LA this weekend was all about one thing! Rent at the famed Hollywood Bowl, directed by Neil Patrick Harris. Among the cast’s glitterati were Tracie Thoms -- a Rent veteran -- as Joanne, while Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger showed off her prowess and a big set of pipes off as Joanne’s lesbian lover Maureen. Next to Normal’s Aaron Tveit – or who I like to call the love child of Jack Twist and Jason Stackhouse – stepped in as Roger, Wayne Brady played Tom Collins and Vanessa Hudgens played Mimi with as much verve as a Disney star could muster.

Fans of the benchmark musical came out in droves, wine bottles and picnic baskets in tow, to enjoy a star-studded Rent under the stars.

Among the cast’s glitterati were Tracie Thoms -- a Rent veteran -- as Joanne, while Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger showed off her prowess and a big set of pipes off as Joanne’s lover Maureen.
