Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Welcome Their 'Biutiful' Boy

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have welcomed, what is destined to be one handsome, baby boy into the world over the weekend. The Oscar winner for Vicki Cristina Barcelona gave birth to their son at Cedars’ Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Cruz and Bardem worked together in 1992’s Jamon Jamon and in Pedro Almodovar’s 1997 film Live Flesh before re-teaming in Woody Allen’s Vicki Cristina Barcelona, for which Cruz won the Oscar playing a fiery bisexual artist. Bardem was nominated for an Oscar for playing gay poet Reinaldo Arenas in Before Night Falls. Bardem is currently nominated for an Oscar for his performance in Biutiful.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have welcomed, what is destined to be one handsome, baby boy into the world over the weekend. The Oscar winner for Vicki Cristina Barcelona gave birth to their son at Cedars’ Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. There is no word yet on the baby's name.

Hola magazine first broke the news that Cruz, 36, and Bardem had their son this weekend, adding that some of Cruz’s family flew in from Spain to join them in the happy occasion, according to Us.
