Justin Bieber to Take Antibullying Stand Following Anti-Gay Slur

Teen idol Justin Bieber plans to take a public stand against bullying after he was targeted with an antigay slur during a game of laser tag. Bieber, who is straight, was assaulted   by a 12-year-old boy during a game of laser tag in Richmond, British Columbia. The boy twice called Bieber a “faggot” and put his hand toward the singer, who pushed it away before he left.

According toTMZ, which first reported on the incident, “We're told Bieber will be going public -- probably within the next week -- to lend his support to the anti-bullying campaign.”

Bieber, who is straight, was assaulted by a 12-year-old boy during a game of laser tag in Richmond, British Columbia. The boy twice called Bieber a “faggot” and put his hand toward the singer, who pushed it away before he left.

Canadian police are investigating the incident.
