Elton John's integrity is a "Candle in the Wind" now that the openly gay rock and pop music male diva has performed at conservative radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh's fourth wedding over the weekend, singing for some 400 guests at the ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida and taking home a $1 million paycheck.
Limbaugh is an outspoken opponent of marriage equality while John is in a civil union with his partner David Furnish. But hell, what's making a million on top of multi millions? Let's hope Elton is in some serious financial trouble, causing him to sell his soul to a flaming right wing, button-pushing, recovering prescription-drug addled hypocrite.
Limbaugh, 59, married Kathryn Rogers, 33, in a ceremony at Palm Beach's Breakers Hotel. Guests included former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Karl Rove and golfer Tom Watson. We wish Rush and wife #4 a happy year of marriage before it ends in a bitter divorce and he continues his Henry the VIII run with wives -- while Elton and his partner languish happily with an unequal civil union.
