BendFilm has opened its submissions process for its 8th Annual festival, set to take place October 6-9, 2011. Submissions are open now, with early bird discounts until March 15. Filmmakers looking to submit films may do so here.
The high-altitude festival was created to give Pacific Northwest, national and international filmmakers recognition and critical exposure for their work.
BendFilm puts its focus on filmmakers first, with awards in the following categories:

BendFilm is a non-profit group inspired by the opportunity to open doors for artists and to cast Bend, Oregon as the cultural and economic beneficiary. The BendFilm Festival runs every October in downtown Bend, OR at the historic Tower Theatre, McMenamins, and The Oxford Hotel.
