80's Flashback Tiffany and Deborah 'Debbie' Gibson in a Syfy Battle over Snakes

This his has bizarre lesbian fetish plus has-been but lovely pop stars written all over it. Former teen queens - and to be fair, ardent LGBT and AIDS activists-Tiffany and Deborah Gibson are set to star in the original SyFy movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, in which Debbie plays a fanatical animal rights activist who frees snakes into the wild, where they grow to enormous lengths, while Tiffany plays a park ranger attempting to save endangered alligators from the mega snakes.

Former teen queens - and to be fair, ardent LGBT and AIDS activists - Deborah Gibson and Tiffany are set to star in the original SyFy movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, in which Debbie plays a fanatical animal rights activist who frees snakes into the wild, where they grow to enormous lengths, while Tiffany plays a park ranger attempting to save endangered alligators from the mega snakes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

At one point, the pair battles it out in a swamp while an "I Think We're Alone Now / Electric Youth," mash-up plays. Okay, I made up the mash-up but I hope the producers considered that. But according to THR, the pair does roll around in the mud together - I'm hoping with Tiffany rocking a park ranger uniform and Debbie in a "Vegans Taste Better," hemp tee.

This what-promises-to-be-a-wonderful-mess of a movie is currently in production and will premiere as one of Syfy's Saturday night original flicks. So clear your calendars now....
