'The Killing's' Bex Taylor-Klaus Tapped to Play Genderqueer on 'House of Lies'

The Killing’s Bex Taylor-Klaus has signed on for another queer role as a guest star on Showtime's comedy series House of Lies.

The Killing’s Bex Taylor-Klaus has signed on for another queer role as a guest star on Showtime's comedy series House of Lies. The young actress who played the scrappy lesbian street kid Bullet on AMC’s dark mystery The Killing, will appear on House of Lies as Lex, a "badass genderqueer basketball player," reports Deadline.

Lex's story line will involve Roscoe Kaan (Donis Leonard Jr.), the son of lead character Marty Kaan (Don Cheadle). Marty runs a management consulting firm that uses crafty and not-always-legal methods of helping its clients improve business; Roscoe is a gender variant kid who is equally as bright as his father and doesn't care about social norms concerning fashion.
Taylor-Klaus's gender-defying Lex will likely become a vital ally for Roscoe as his character progresses. Joining Taylor-Klaus as a guest star on House of Lies is Eliza Coupe, who played bisexual Jane on Happy Endings.
