Look who's come back from the 90s folks! Gaby Hoffman, who was one of the most famous child stars 20 years ago, appeared in such movies as Field of Dreams, Uncle Buck, This is My Life, Sleepless in Seattle and my favorite, Now & Then. All of which have become classics in their own right.
The former child star took a break from acting to finish her college studies and after hitting the theater circuit, she's gradually coming back to film hitting it full force playing a pregnant lesbian in the new horror web series Lyle, which has been described as "a lesbian Rosemary's Baby," according to AfterEllen. Who knew the devil was such a giving sperm donor, eh?
Ingrid Jungerman is set to play Gaby’s partner in the series created by Stewart Thorndike.
In a recent New York Times article Gaby said that she agreed to star in the series for $25 per day, a fee that was recently increased to a whopping $100.
“Who knows if I’m going to have any Social Security or health insurance?" she said to the Times. "I should just take whatever money I can get whenever I can get it. Let’s not be stupid, right?”
Look for Gaby in the Michael Cera indie darling Crystal Fairy, which is making the film fest rounds.
Lyle (and her satanic spawn) will officially be online July 13.
