Thankfully, the powers that be got it together and amped up Santana’s storyline for the back half of Glee’s fourth season. Today, Naya Rivera dropped by CBS’s The Talk to discuss her character, her fans and, the craziest thing a fan has ever done.

Annoying guest host Howie Mandel aside, Naya gave a great interview, especially when out cohost Sara Gilbert asked about Santana’s coming out.

Naya gave a huge nod to her fans saying she has the best fans in the world and expressing how thankful she is to be a role model of sorts.

“It’s been one of these storylines that has touched so many people and changed so many young girls’ lives,” Naya said. “I didn’t know there were that many teenaged lesbians in the world.
