It’s been a long summer for Gleeks, so when Ryan and Murphy and company throw a bone in the form of a 30-second teaser for the show’s fourth season that includes Kate Hudson torturing Lea Michele’s Rachel and Brittany firing off a trademark clueless comment, we’ll take it.
In the teaser Hudson's character puts Rachel through her paces in New York while Sue (Jane Lynch) delivers her usual backhanded statement to Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison).
While there’s nary a glimpse of Lima’s hottest lesbian cheerio ever, Santana (Naya Rivera), there are a few moments that feature her girlfriend Brittany (Heather Morris). There’s also a quick look at gay boys Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) and trans teen Unique (Alex Newell), who has apparently transferred to McKinley High. In all, other than Rachel’s somewhat predicted path to the New York theater community, it’s fairly tough to judge anything that’s happening in the teaser.
It looks as though we’ll have to wait until the Glee season premiere on Sept 13, on Fox for the real goods.
