Bridgett Casteen, the live-in girlfriend of Glee star Dot-Marie Jones, is enmeshed in a custody battle over her two children, Casteen said in an interview with RadarOnline.com.
Casteen, 39, has two children with her ex-husband, Jack Parham. The kids live with their father in Georgia and Casteen visits every month, but she’s suing Parham for custody so they can live with her and Jones in California.
“We had a verbal agreement where I was providing food and clothes for them,” Casteen told RadarOnline.com. “It wasn't until we went to court earlier this month that we were told by a judge that the verbal agreement didn't have legal standing, and that I owed $28,000. I immediately paid $10,000 of that amount.”
Jones, who doesn't speak a great deal publically about her personal life is a longtime advocate for LGBT equality who has worked with groups like Equality Virginia and AIDS Walk San Francisco.
